February 2019 Challenges

#12patternsplus2019: a monthly challenge to sew the same pattern as the rest of the community and reveal the garments on the same day. Join the Facebook group for more info. January’s pattern is the free Clarissa Clutch by Huff ‘n Cuffs Sewing Patterns.

52 Week Sewing Challenge: a Facebook-only challenge with weekly themes. February’s are:

  • Sew Something to Make Sewing Easier
  • Upcycle Something
  • Sew Something with Knit Fabric
  • Sew Something Green or Environmentally Friendly

#BHMPatternDesigners: celebrate Black History Month by showcasing patterns by African Americans. See the rules over at @naturaldane‘s Instagram.

#DayandNightDressChallenge: Elizabeth’s annual challenge, this year’s theme is 1 Dress, 2 Looks. Post your look by March 17.

#DiscoverOurGlory: a daily encouragement from writer/lecturer @rachel.cargle to learn during Black History Month
