#50nuancesdejaunecontrelendometriose: a French Instagram call to action. Post any kind of craft in shades of yellow throughout March to bring awareness to that 1 out of 10 women suffer from endometriosis. Follow @chezmachinepatterns for more info. Runs until March 31.
#BGChallenge: a Facebook-only contest, the purpose of the Breaking Ground Challenge is to use a pattern from a new-to-you pattern designer/company. Submissions must be posted in the Facebook album. Join the Sew Alongs & Sewing Contests Facebook group to see full details. Ends March 31.
#ColourInThirds: sew a garment using @tessutifabrics‘s newest Japanese polyester crepe de chine currently 50% off and win a chance at cash and prizes. Note the spelling! Contest closes midnight AEST April 14 (time zone converter for non-Australians).
#MakeYourStash: 3-month challenge to use the older (possibly neglected) fabrics in your stash, with prizes from various sponsors. Follow @timetosew and @pilar_bear for sustainability-inspired prompts every Monday through June 2019.
#MarchMeetTheMaker: the annual prompt-driven challenge to promote your maker-focused business starts March 1. Prompts released in mid-February by @joannehawker.
#SewMyStyle2019: each month brings a new theme and potential sponsor prizes. March’s theme is cardigans featuring the Helen’s Closet Blackwood and Style Arc Como. Join the Facebook group for more info.
