Spotlight: Current Favorite Maker Tool

This is the Brightech LightView Pro Flex 2 in 1: 2.25x Magnifier with Bright LED Light – Magnifying Glass Lamp with Base Stand & Clamp. I received this for my birthday and WOW has it helped my poor eyes!

Why Do I Love It?

It’s incredibly helpful for detail work, like unpicking stitches. Especially black stitches on black fabric, or the same in white. This can be a difficult task on the eyes. But a lighted magnifying glass helps take some of the sting away.

My favorite sewing tool for unpicking invisible stitches is this lighted magnifying glass my husband got me for my birthday. It has 2.25x magnification and 6 watt LED light. And is perfect for undoing this white-on-white lingerie stitch on FOE. The only other worse stitch to unpick is the lightning one…but at least I’m now mending my Misty Cami shelf bra. Yay, #themendyproject!! What’s your favorite sewing “tool”?
